Reply with quote | #1 | Cheap For Me.com has put together a fairly short list of rules, tips and advice in which we expect everyone to follow and consider. These rules, tips and advice have been kept as brief as possible.
•You agree not to post any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws. You also agree that you will not post any copyrighted material that is not owned by yourself or the owners of these forums without the sole permission from the original author. •You are 100% responsible for all content contained in your messages. We reserve the right to release any information we know about you to the appropriate authorities in the event of complaints or legal action arising from any messages posted by yourself. •All messages on this forum are not the responsibility of Cheap For Me.com and it's owners, Cheap For Me administration and Cheap For Me forum moderators. We reserve the right to delete any messages at any time whatsoever whether we have a reason to, or not.
•Post in the Correct Forum Please do not post a message in a forum that has nothing to do with your topic. Doing so will cause a "lack of replies" and usually your problem and/or question will go unanswered! It's very important to keep our forums topic related! For example: If you have an amplifier question, please do not post it in the Car Security forum. If you need us to add a new forum to provide more topics, please say so by posting a message in our Comments/Suggestions forum so we can come up with something. •Research Your Post First Make sure to research your post first. Sometimes your questions or problems have already have been covered and answered by other members many of times.
•No UPPER CASE Letters Using upper case letters on forums will not gain more visibility to your post. Usually it's ignored by most! Upper case letters are also known to be a form of shouting. On this forum, we like all valued members to talk to each other, not yell. Keep it all lower case please or your post will be deleted! In all honestly, usually there are as many members looking to provide answers as there are members posting questions, so don't worry about trying to stick out.
•Be Descriptive, Detailed and Specific Try to post as much descriptive, detailed and specific information as possible about your topic. The more information you give usually results in the most replies which will help you solve your problem! Also, it allows members to search for specific problems and topics.
**Include Images** A picture is worth a thousand words (sometimes a million) and will usually make it that much easier to help you solve your problem. All images will be in the form of thumbnails and viewed in full size by clicking on the thumbnails. All posts will include 5 images/photos you may want to upload in the following formats: bmp, doc, docx, gif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, pdf, png, rtf, txt, and zip and is totally free to use. If we start running out of storage room (bandwidth), we'll just add more bandwidth space for our valued members!
•Do Not Post The Same Topic Twice Please do not post the same topic in multiple forums as they will be deleted.
•Malicious Code Any member that causes script errors by entering any type of code in a message post will be banned. Zero tolerance!
•No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material. This includes suggestive images, graphics, and comments.
•Do not post links to warez, warez sites or sites with pornographic or objectionable content. Only link to sites that are for family friendly oriented! Also, only link to sites that are on subject with the topic posted!
•Do not spam forums with logos of websites and URLs in hope of receiving free traffic and advertising, whether it's your website you're trying to promote or not. We have very little tolerance for such behavior and will ban you forever.
•Any post containing any information whatsoever that may be considered a violation of law or lead to an unlawful act in the United States of America such as injury or death or aiding in theft and/or criminal activity may be deleted. This includes video bypass procedures which allow you ways to make your in-dash dvd player play a dvd while moving which is illegal in some states. Please note*, topics about bypass procedures are common. You can post topics about these subjects if you want as we have no responsibility whatsoever for the outcome. You're attempting it at your own risk!
•Respect the Privacy of other Members Do not post other's phone numbers, addresses, pictures, etc., without their permission. This kind of action is completely intolerable!
•Each forum member is only allowed to have one account.
•Do not use foul language. We are currently using tools to to block all foul language from being posted on forums.
•Classifieds We allow you to post as many products and items for sale and trade as long as it has something to do with car electronics. For example: we do not want to see anyone trying to sell a vacuum cleaner! Post pictures, descriptions and contact information about products and items regarding car electronics only. We are not responsible for issues and problems arising from buying, selling and trading forum related products and items with other members. You will be doing so at your own risk.
•Politics and Religion This is not a political or religious forum, this is a mobile car electronics forum, please do not post on any issue or topic that may be considered political or religious as someone will in fact always be offended because that's the way it is. So leave it at that!
•You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages.
